Well, it's been a very busy time.

Percy the Pigeon has become famous with his photo in the echo and a mention on our local community radio station - The Bay 102.8 FM.

The Bournemouth Echo very kindly came to do a photo session and interview.The photographer was able to see Percy in all his splendour as she watched him and steadily got closer to take his portrait photo.

On the 3rd of April - our launch day, we were invited to do a live interview with our local community not-for-profit radio station Bay Fm you can hear them online. Paul did a great job and immediately put me at my ease, as I was incredibly nervous, but so glad for the fantastic opportunity to talk about the book and promote the great work of Bullying UK.

 

We were very kindly invited to go into Bay Radio's station for a second interview on the 29th April with Geoff Carter If you would like to hear the interview, please click the button at the top of the page.

 

We have been featured in the fantastic British Homing World Journal, run by the Royal Pigeon Racing Association. There will be information about the book and they ran  a competition to win a signed copy of the book with a gift pack.

It is very appropriate to be featured in this journal, as the association's Patron, is the Queen! I won't give the story away, but this is important in Matty-boy & The Secret Pigeon Racket.

Percy the Pigeon also has his own BT Tradespace! His story has been mentioned on the BT Tradespace blog.


BT Today have also very kindly written an article all about the book.

In the May issue of 'Simply Knitting' our Percy the Pigeon knitting pattern designed by Alan Dart has been mentioned in the news section.
